What are the different ways a woman can get checked for STI’s/STD’d, Cancer…”down there”?

I am going to get a smear test done but I don’t know what it checks for? I want to get like an overall check for everything all STI’s and STD’s but i don’t know what tests they do, like blood tests etc? Any info greatly appreciated.

Pap smears generally test for abnormal cervical cells which could be caused by cervical cancer. Some times there are blood tests and urine tests along with a swab culture of the vagina. Let the doctor know what you want to be tested for and they should know how to test for it.
