You can have herpes transferred from the mouth to your genitals during oral sex if there are signs of an out break
Herpes whitlow (finger herpes) usually happens when some one with an out break of cold sores chews their fingers and had a small cut around the cuticles. Before latex gloves were used, dentists had this problem because they were sticking their fingers in patients mouths who had cold sores.
It’s not likely but possible to get finger herpes from fingering some one with genital herpes unless they had signs of an out break at the time and the person fingering had some cuts on their fingers.
Herpes doesn’t always come from having sex HSV1 is the cause of most of these, you can get this type during child hood when relatives or friends with cold sores go around kissing children while they have an out break. Many people don’t know that cold sores are caused by a contagious virus.

they usually get herpes during birth when mother has some outbreaks !
so Herpes is not genetic, it’s usually passed by skin contact when the baby comes through the birth canal when the mother has an out break of genital herpes. It’s possible but herpes can be deadly to newborns, or they could have some problems with. they could become blind or have some brain damage.
There are things that can be done to prevent herpes from being passed on when the mother gives birth. Such as having a c-section if there is an out break at the time of delivery.

Yes, it’s a skin virus, so you can get it literally ANYWHERE.
That’s why cold sores (which IS herpes) can end up as genital herpes, if that person performs oral sex on someone.
It’s then 100% genital herpes.
People get it all over. You don’t have to use much imagination to think of how that happens.

Anywhere there is a nerve ending in the body, herpes can affect it. All is takes is skin-to-skin contact and the herpes virus can spread.

Yep. All those little germs and viruses are just waiting for you to touch ‘em. Nice to know that sex can be so totally un-fun, huh?
(That’s why ya gotta be choosy.)
