Question About How Genital Warts Are Spread?
I have a friend who is female and she has genital warts,she says that they are internal,not visible. She is currently having unprotected sex with her BF who doesn’t know about it.She says the only way for him to get it is if he has an open sore on his penis??? Is that true??

No way! Genital warts are VERY contagious. Just skin to skin contact ONCE is enough to get them. You can even get them from somebody touching their genitals and then touching you. I feel sorry for her boyfriend. Poor bastard…

No, the genital warts she has WILL spread to him (if it hasn’t already) if they continue to have unprotected sex.
Genital warts are spread by sexual contact with an infected partner and are very contagious. Approximately two-thirds of all persons who have sexual contact with an infected partner will develop this sexually transmitted disease (STD).
It is far more contagious than AIDS, and for women, can be just as deadly if left untreated.
