I was told that for men genital herpes leave sores on the penis head that don’t go away or crust off like herpes on the lip do. I don’t have herpes myself but i was wondering if this is true…

No that is not true. Herpes simplex I and simplex II go through the same signs and symptoms no matter where they are on or in the body. The sores do clear up and go away but, you still have the virus that will go dormant. Out breaks come with stress, sunshine, fever, etc.
