No. Its common to get Gennital Herpes, Not Genital Warts beotch. Eww your gross. Why would you have sex with someone that did it with like 7000 other men or women? lol

No, herpes does not cause genital warts. They are caused by two separate viruses. You may have contracted both viruses and have both diseases, but they are not directly related.

No. In fact, it’s not possible to get genital wartes from herpes. They’re two different viruses.

HSV is the herpes simplex virus of which there are two different strains. This causes blisters either facial or genital.

Genital warts, along with cervical cancer, are caused by HPV (human papilomavirus).

If you are seeing any type of symptoms at all, please see your doctor or planned parenthood immediately to be tested. And don’t be afraid to ask them questions. They’re there to help.

The warts are something entirely different. Both are caused by viruses, but herpes is caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus, while warts are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus. Completely unconnected.

The symptoms are completely different too.

Herpes types 1 and 2 cause genital herpes – normally outbreaks of tiny blisters that can be sore and go away in a few days, but can reccur. Herpes type 1 is also the virus normally responsible for cold sores/fever blisters on the mouth. 25% of women and 20% of men have genital herpes, and about 80% of the population has oral herpes.

The warts virus has many variants, some cause visible warts that need treatment, others cause no symptoms but can lead to cervical cancer. The warts virus is incredibly common – probably half the population has one strain or another of the virus. The virus also stays in the system like herpes and can reccur at a later date, although some people ‘clear’ the virus to a level where it cannot be detected on a test within a couple of years.

The only thing that connects them is that they are both caused by sexually transmitted viruses.

No, genital herpes and genital warts are caused by two very DIFFERENT viruses and have nothing to do with each other.

Genital warts are caused by HPV which is also responsible for cervical cancer.

Genital herpes is caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV). Genital herpes can be caused by either herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV1) or by herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV), but it’s more commonly caused by HSV2.
