You need to constantly put wart remover on them at night. My step daughter had them, we viciously attacked them with wart remover every night for two months. They finally went away and haven’t come back. Plus, now they have the “freezy stuff” that the doctors use. You can buy it over the counter. Make sure you read the directions.

Getting rid of warts is pretty painful because they have pesky roots (gross, I know). My doctor told me the same thing…keep it covered and it will kill it and it will eventually (but not in 3 weeks) fall off. If your parents have medical insurance for you, a dermatologist can spray it with liquid nitrogen (which just feels icy cold) and it will speed up the process. Again, you’ll just have to keep it covered. If they don’t have insurance, or a doctor isn’t an option for you, there are lots of relatively inexpensive options at the pharmacy. Walmart or Walgreens should be cheapest, and they may have their own brand. Check the labels. The main ingredient is usually salicitic (misspelled) acid, which is the same as aspirin. If you take aspirin, not tylenol, but old fashioned aspirin and add enough water to make a paste, you can put it on the warts and it will do the same as those over the counter meds. Truly it does work. But, just so you’ll know, it is kinda painful once it starts working its way down to the deeper areas. Oh, and gross, but helpful, as the to of the wart start to die off, it will get soft and squishy (like the tips of your fingers after you’ve been in the tub too long). You can scrape that off (GENTLY) with something disposable to allow the meds (aspirin or something else) to work on the next part. My doctor told be to use a disposable knive to gently scrape away the soft part of mine and to BE SURE TO DISPOSE OF THE SCRAPER. You also need a big box of bandaids, because, not only do you need to keep them covered and moist and fresh meds on them, but you need to change them about 1-2 times a day to keep them clean. Good luck.

Liquid nitrogen applied with a cotton-bud stick. Your doctor may have it readily available, I know that here in Australia it is the accepted removal process.
Its relatively painless, or painful depnding on how squeamish you are.
