I have genital herpes and if someone fingered me can I pass it to them even though that was the only thing we did.

Unfortunately yes as this is a virus and can be spread through a variety of ways.
A live virus can be spread through any of the following:
1 – Direct contact with a herpes infection
2 – Kissing or touching the infected areas (see above)
3 – Sexual contact
4 – Cold sores in your mouth can actually be spread through drinking glasses, cigarettes, lipstick..etc
You are actually infectious from the moment the first outbreak occurs and many people actually pass the disease along without even knowing it. This is known as asymptomatic transmission.

YES. You can pass it on! Even if there’s no outbreak you can pass it on!!! You need to discuss this with every partner, every time! Without question, call that person and be honest with them about your status…this is NEVER something you should keep to yourself when someone else’s health is at risk.
Did your doctor not discuss your diagnosis with you? This is incredibly unsafe.
