  1. Franz L Says:

    Traditional Treatments
The best-known over-the-counter treatments typically use the active ingredient salicylic acid. Despite its effectiveness, it can make the area around the wart tender. Since it is an acid, you’ll also want to be careful that the product is applied only to the wart and not to the surrounding skin. These chemicals also may not be appropriate if you have certain conditions, such as diabetes or circulatory problems.
Another of the common home remedies for warts is duct tape. That’s right, duct tape. Place a strip of tape directly over the wart and leave it there for about six days. After removing the tape, soak the wart, and then file it down with an emery board. Surprisingly, a 2002 study found tape therapy eliminated warts 85% of time, while standard over-the-counter treatments zapped only 60% of warts.
Despite this decidedly unconventional therapy’s effectiveness, it’s not exactly a practical solution. For example, if the wart is on the index finger of your dominant hand, a duct tape bandage might be impractical. You may also feel like a goof walking around with duct tape wrapped around a body part.
Other home-fixes for wart removal involve raiding the pantry. For example, one common grandma-endorsed remover involves a potato. Yes, the lowly spud is reputed to have power over the wart. Simply cut a raw potato and rub the cut side against the wart several times a day for at least two weeks. Although this cure has been endorsed by generations of grandmas and nanas, there is not scientific evidence to back up the claims.

  2. Totally Sane Mantis Says:

Warts are usually your body surrounding and keeping a virus away from the rest of your body. You need to get rid of the roots of the wart.
Go the the pharmacy and get some Wart-off. It’s a minor acid that will destroy the roots of the wart. Keep pulling bits of it out with some tweezers as well.
Other than that, the doctor can freeze it off, or else use this electrical thing to burn them off.

  3. Pikeface Says:

Dangerous Method: You can burn them off. What you do is take something like a large metal needle the you put on a stove element until red hot and burn the wart away. This does leave nasty scars if not taken care of properly and can hurt quite a bit.
    or
Safe/Easy Method: Freeze them off. If you go to a doctor, they can administer a swab covered in liquid nitrogen to freeze the wart off. It hurts a bit, and it will bruise but scarring is minimal.
The whole point of burning or freezing the wart is destroying the skin cells around the it to stop the cells spreading and to remove all the water in them so it dies off.
You may have a little black bump of the old wart left behind but it usually falls off in the shower within a few days.
    Good Luck with that.

  4. Medic Loretta Says:

if you want to remove warts then you should know that you can remove warts by surgery, freezing, laser, acid or with cream but warts can reappear again and again because warts appears when your immune system is weak! so you must build up your immune system because your body can get rid of warts by itself if your immune system will be strong! so eat more healthy food, more vitamins and more sport activities!
(No smoking, no beer/ale, no booze, no drugs, no junk food, no fast food garbage, no sugary sweet soda’s. Get on a good, balanced, healthy diet including plenty of boiled or steamed vegetables. Drink P L E N T Y O F W A T E R , fruit juices & fat free milk. Snack on lots of RAW fruit & veggies. Get up one hour early every morning & take a BRISK 30 minute walk – then – do the same thing again in the evening after dinner. Make sure you eat a good, balanced breakfast daily. You get your energy for the day from your breakfast meal. Get 8 hours sleep each night. Flip your mattress over so it will level out to give you a good night’s rest. Slack off too much coffee & tea.)
HPV is the virus that causes warts. And HPV virus has many strains. In your case you have HPV virus strain number 2. People can be infected with HPV and never show any symptoms. Others will develop warts. These warts can stay the same size, grow, or go away on their own. It depends on the infected person’s immune system. A healthy immune system means your body may be able to suppress the virus and not show symptoms.
also you should use some herbal treatment!
in that case Wartrol is a good (probably the best) product that gets rid of warts comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that they wont reappear again! it says that it is designed for Genital Warts but
it does not matter because warts are warts and wartrol works by stimulating your immune system to fight the HPV virus that causes the warts. of course it is better if you use full course (5 months – if I remember correctly).
It worked and still works for me!
I do not know if any pharmacies carry Wartrol but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://picturesofgenitalwarts.net/genital-wart-pictures/ " /> good luck!

  5. Yim Says:

I think it is salicylic acid that will burn them off with repeated applications. It is marketed as “wart remover” …weird name huh? There is a small bit of pain involved but only about as much as a small scratch and not as much as even a tiny burn from heat. If they are really big, you might want to see a doctor and he/she might laser them off or even use salicylic acid but in a higher concentration.
Don’t use a knife or grinder of some sort since you will only cause pain, possibly infection, and probably not get the root of the wart.

  6. Marianne G Says:

Urgh, warts are sick; my sister had them. She went to Group Health clinic and they froze it off with this freeze stuff in a can. It doesn’t hurt that much, it freezes the wart so it stops growing and in a couple days it goes away. OR; you could go to any store like walmart and buy wart remover. Almost the same thing. Costs about $7.

  7. GreenPea Says:

Rub the inside if a banana peel on it!
Do it periodically – make a habit of doing it before you go to bed, or maybe in the mornings, until it goes away

  8. senseiha Says:

  9. Anonymous Says:

Some stores sell a formula that’s similar to liquid nitrogen that you just dab on the warts and it freezes them and they go away in like two days. I can’t remember the exact name of the product, though. Wish I could be of more help. Good luck!

  10. Cody Says:

go to the doctor and get them burned off with liquid nitrogen. It string a little only if you get it on your skin. It will take a couple of times with a 2 week period between each treatment. don’t be embarrassed to go to the doctor.
