Sexual contact and genital warts are not really related. At least not exclusively.
Warts are contageous and can be transferred from one part of the body to another.
What is dangerous about genital warts is the risk of it migrating inwards to the uterous. This can increase your chance of cancer.
Best thing to do is to treat the wart you have now with tea tree oil, apply some as often as possible daily until teh wart disappears. At the same time you might want to look into boosting your immune system, either through regular diet or supplements, as warts are caused by the HPV1 virus and can be suppressed by your immune system.
You might want to consider having your Doctor or Gynecologist give you an exam to make sure it hasn’t migrated inwards yet.
Good luck,
