Can I Get Genital Herpes If I Share Food With My Friend?

I have a friend who has genital herpes but i want to know if anyone else can get it if they share foods with her?

    No.
    She has genital herpes, and herpes is a localised skin infection, it is not carried in the blood.
    This means that only her genitals can ever be infectious.
    So no one can ever get genital herpes from sharing foods with her, unless she is sticking the food up her vagina and then straight onto your genitals. Even then the risk would be miniscule. Herpes is passed via skin to skin contact with the affected area – her genitals only.
