Can Genital Warts Be Passed Down From Your Parent To The Child During Birth?

Can a Dr. determine how long you’ve had genital warts, and which partner had it first?

I don’t think it’s the doctor’s job to tell you who had it first and when you each got it.
The child can get the warts if it comes in contact with an open sore. You can get warts on your face if it comes in contact with an open sore. You can get them anywhere even though they are called ‘genital’ warts.

It is possible, but rare. More serious is the passing of Herpes viruses to the fetus.
As for determining which partner had it first, that’s very difficult if not impossible with today’s technology. We’re talking about cutting-edge genetic analysis, I don’t think such a thing would be feasible. The history of one’s partners would be the only way to go.
