Not the kind that causes genital warts but the kind that causes cervical cancer? I was told that many mothers with hpv change their children and put desenex cream etc. for diaper rash and the children are safe. Is this true.

yes, it’s true. I don’t know of anyone anywhere who would try to deter a mom of changing her baby’s diaper because she has hpv.

HPV is an STD. It has nothing to do with what a parent can and can’t do to take care of their child. If you had herpes you’d still be able to take care of your kid.

You can’t actually transmit the hpv to the baby by changing the diper or giving him a bath. If you are unsure of it, just clean your hands before you go about doing this.
“Transmission of genital warts is only possible by close contact with objects that have been exposed to the virus.”
