I had a couple tests done for herpes, and I am + for type 1, – for type 2. I have cold sores sometimes, so I’m assuming that’s why the test was +… but how do I know I don’t also have it genitally? I have strange symptoms below, tingling, crawling… but no sores or blisters.

It just seems like there’s a stigma if you tell someone you have genital herpes, yet if they mention cold sores it seems to be no big deal.

recently my boyfriend has been having chemo. he has now got a STD, he told me that it has come back from his body being rundown. Now i have been told that chemo kills all bad cells off! i would like to know if this possible or is the wool being pulled over my eyes?

And more importantly, what would be the primary symptom?

I am talking to a 29 year old doctor that lives out of state. we have a lot in common & I am scared to tell him I have genital herpes. I am very good looking and have a great personality but he has no idea. What would you do? Be completely honest. how should I break it to him? How would u react? is it as big of a deal to doctors then a regular person having to hear this? Any Doctors out there?

Simply answer the question above. I really do not want all the facts on herpes. I want to know this answer only. Basically, what are the chances that someone without herpes performing oral sex on a female with herpes will catch the disease? I would prefer answers from a medical professional or someone that actually has the virus and has experience with it, I don’t want to know what you think might happen if you are unsure. Thank you.
