My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years. I got the guardisil shots while I was with him. Though he has had sexual partners before, I have never had anyone but him. He suddenly found out that he has genital warts; however, I do not. Is it possible for him to have gotten it from me getting the shots or not?

So every 2-3 months I get a cold sore from herpes on my lips.
If I accidentally touch it (eg. wiping food from my mouth), and then I touch my penis, could I give myself genital warts?
If you don’t understand, I only have oral herpes, is it possible for me to give myself herpes on my penis?

Bcuz my girlfriend has simplex 1 and she’s terrified so. But she’s scared that if she pokes her cold sore then masturbates that she would get genital herpes… Please help?

If not, do you think that someone who has genital herpes should inform partners before having sex with them?
I have genital herpes hsv-1, the same virus that causes cold sores on the mouth. People who have oral hsv-1 are actually 5 times more infectious than me, and if they give oral sex are putting their partners at 5x the risk I am if I have unprotected sex with someone.
So bearing this in mind, do you think the stigma placed on genital hsv-1 is fair, and would you expect someone that has the virus genitally to behave any differently than someone who has it orally? Why does one have a ‘moral responsibility’ while the other does not?

Once you have herpes do you have it forever? Can you get it and then it goes or does it stay forever? I want to know if it is possible to get rid of genital herpes? Also, is it possible to have just one herpes outbreak, like chickenpox, to get it out the way and then you are clear? Please help.
