i got herpes about a year ago and i had one symptom and that was very mild. i had an itch this morning and its come back only a little bit this one very mild too. it all most feels like a saw. please help….

Anybody, I appreciate the feedback, but this has nothing to do with my primary physician. I see a female for pelvic exams and I was just curious. Can Pelvic Inflammatory Disease be caused from something other than an STD? I was recently told that this may be the cause of the pain I have been living with for the past 6 years. Everything I read about says that PID is caused by an STD. I’ve been married for 15 years and have only had one partner. I’m confused…

I know that in most animal species, the males clearly want sex more than the females, but I was wondering if humans were different. Here’s a couple of facts that I considered:

Would genital herpes occur on more than just thighs? Wouldnt there be sores in the genital region too?
