If come across a woman you don’t know her very much and you wanna have sex with her, how can you determine whether she has STD or not, especially HIV-AIDS?
It is said that if there is a bad smell there, then she may go down with some sort of inflammation, is it right?

I saw a patient who tested positive for gonorrhea and she was upset because she didn’t want to be tested nor did she know STD testing was going to be done. Is this because STD testing is just included as the standard-of-care for sexually active women at risk or did she need to give consent to STD testing first?

My last encounter with my ex was on a Sunday (he has HPV and I don’t). I got an exam and got tested for HPV on that Thursday. Everything came back negative. I was just wondering if the HPV could have been in my system and just not have shown up on the test. How long does it take for HPV to show up on tests?

My friend got genital warts and she was with a man for going on 5 yrs, she is only sexually active with him and she fears that he may have cheated on her and gave her genital warts. How often do males give females genital warts? What about the average timespan it shows in woman after the man has been infected? Should she suspect her partner? Should she worry about cancer?

I’ve had different sex partners in the past and I’ve had 2 blood tests for genital herpes a year apart, both of which came out negative. I’ve never had any noticable symptoms of genital herpes.
What are the chances that the blood test results could have been false negatives and I actually have it, since people can have it without knowing it?
