What are the symptoms genital herpes and also long does it take to show up?

When I was about 13 or 14 I started getting sores on my labia right around my period. When I asked my then gyno what it was he said I probably was having a sensitive reaction to a certain kind of soap. I’m 21 now and I still get the sores, i’ve been trying to use non-allergic soap and it doesn’t work. I’m wondering if its herpes because I usually get the one sore in the same spot over and over again…it bleeds and itches a lot. Is this herpes?

In other words, when will I know if I have herpes?

Like…what do they usually look like? I’m sexually active and I almost always have bumps on my vagina. They look like pimples and if I squeeze them, puss comes out…but they don’t hurt. I also don’t have any strange odor down there. Do I have genital warts?

Last week I tested negative for HIV. If it’s been eight months already and I haven’t shown any symptoms whatsoever (I’m male and I’ve been keeping a very close eye out) what are the chances that I still have a completely symptomless STD?

quite a few friends of mine sleep with the same person and found out she had genital herpes. Now they are all going to get tested. Will they be able to find out if they have it through a blood test?

I was just wondering if my symptoms are from an std, then would that std then show on testing? I tested at 3 weeks with symptoms starting at 2 weeks. All tests came back negative. Researching my symptoms could also be prostatitis or just trama due to rough sex, but always worried.

Today my girlfriend tells me her doctor says she has genital herpes… we have been together about 3 1/2 months, I do not have herpes. Does this mean she has been cheating on me or can it take this long for symptoms to occur?
