When you found out you had genital herpes did your partner stay with you or leave you?

My boyfriend says that he is staying with me and that he loves me. Im just asking this question because I want to know what usually happens when someone has herpes and the other partner doesnt.

please note there was no cheating involved- it was a dormant std that doctors have no test to even tell you if you have it.

How long can the herpes virus stay in your body without showing up on an std test. What is a safe time frame to wait until it would show on a std test?

If I scratch my genital warts or area real quick and then touch like the remote control or cell phone does that mean that who ever touches my remote or cell will get warts like when they get to the bathroom? Or say I just finished masturbating and I open the door or open the water, someone can get it? or say I touch myself like my leg or arm or whatever after masturbating, am I going to get warts there too? Or say I just touched myself or whatever and I touch someone else like their hand, face, or anything, are they going to get warts there too?
