So, I went to the dr. and got a physical (pap smear and all) and was diagnosed with genital warts. She prescribed some cream. But didn’t really give me any detail about my problem. I’ve looked up info on the net but am still confused, what i am getting is: My body can fight off HPV-if i am lucky, so I will no longer have the virus- right? How does the virus affect me other than having the warts?

I was listening to a talk show on the radio about a discussion on the above question. There are some sperm clinics that refuse to take sperm donations from people with sexually transmitted deceases (STD) and apparently there are some that do. The host mentioned there is legislation to make all sperm clinics that refuse to take sperm donations from people with STD’s to start taking their donations. The host also said there is a process to “cleanse” the deceased donations but its not 100% safe. What do you think?

My friend recently moved in with me and she just told me she has the std. The thing is I take baths constantly. So I was thinking that if she takes a shower and then i take a bath right after i can catch the std? Is that possible?
