I looked on webmd and many other medical sites, so far I’ve found it gets passed through intercourse (obviously why its an STD) but I haven’t found any answer as to if it passes through oral sex.

I am so afraid! I feel ashamed for being so completely oblivious to this, but I started off a few days with symptoms that seemed like a yeast infection. The itching has still lasted until today, and I am not alarmed by that, as it may take a few days for the Monistat cream to cure it.
But I noticed a little itchy bump on my vulva. And the skin all around it is itching terribly. The bump is definately not sore to the touch…just itches like hell. So does the rest of that area! It’s getting on my nerves.
Now, my boyfriend is a little worried. Could it be herpes? I’ve never had sexual intercourse with a man who was infected with it, but I am still worried. Or does this seem like usual yeast infection business? Someone please help.

I have genital herpes. My girlfriend performed oral sex on me right after I caught the virus (I did not know at the time). Does this mean she got herpes? and if so, genital or oral herpes? If she got oral herpes, and I kiss her, will I too get oral herpes, along with my genital herpes?!??? that last question is my main question.

I just met a great guy, the only drawback is that he has genital herpes and I don’t, Is it possible for me never to get if we use a condom, or I will get it automatically.

I have a friend who is female and she has genital warts,she says that they are internal,not visible. She is currently having unprotected sex with her BF who doesn’t know about it.She says the only way for him to get it is if he has an open sore on his penis??? Is that true??

Tomorrow I have an appt with my doctor. I’ve been to two other doctors what gave me a visual diagnosis saying what I have is a ingrown hair bump. The health dept that I went to said they only do visual testings for herpes and genital warts. My question is what do I say to my doctor for him to test me for what’s needed for those two stds, I want to know for certain? What test do I ask for? Thanks

My friend just found out she has genital warts on her lady part down there. She’s been with the same guy for 3 1/2 years. Him and her cheat on each other back and fourth. I’m not sure if her boyfriend has it or not. I’m sure he does. My question is, couldn’t he get warts in and around his mouth? She didn’t tell him about her genital warts, and she always talks about him giving her oral sex and how good their sex life is.
