Me and my gf have a healthy sex life and we have only had sex with each other, Is it possible for one of us 2 get genital herpes?
I recently discovered that I caught herpes from a conniving slut I met at the grocery store that I work at. She conveniently didn’t mention anything about her condition before our sexual encounter. I don’t want my sexual life to suffer from this unfortunate incident. Can I get into any sort of trouble (besides morally) for not telling my sexual partners about my STD? Will people I sleep with catch my herpes for sure or is there a chance they won’t even get it?
Me and my boyfriend are both virgins and have never been sexually active. Like no oral sex or whatever. Is it possibly to still get an STD?
Once watching TV I saw an advertisment related to a drug, a daily pill, which prevent to spread the Human Papiloma Virus (HPV) from a infected person to her/his non-infected sexual partner, but I didnt write down the name of the drug and now I want to have further information about it.
Also can you get a(n) STD if you keep having sex with the same person every single time?
Me and my girlfriend are eachothers partners, we had never had sex with anybody else before can we catch an std?
If both people in the relationship already have the virus, is it necessary to wear a condom? Will not wearing a condom make the warts more likely to reappear?
If not, do you think that someone who has genital herpes should inform partners before having sex with them?
I have genital herpes hsv-1, the same virus that causes cold sores on the mouth. People who have oral hsv-1 are actually 5 times more infectious than me, and if they give oral sex are putting their partners at 5x the risk I am if I have unprotected sex with someone.
So bearing this in mind, do you think the stigma placed on genital hsv-1 is fair, and would you expect someone that has the virus genitally to behave any differently than someone who has it orally? Why does one have a ‘moral responsibility’ while the other does not?
