Why do people say that it is necessary to practice safe sex with your partner if she has HPV/genital warts and you don’t. The uninfected person will definitely get it even if they were a condom, so what’s the point
(When I say partner, I mean partner in a monogomous relationship where you wife or husband has genital warts).

I recently found out I have HPV, from an abnormal pap. Due to sexual history my b/f and I have assumed I contracted it from him. I am waiting to get back in touch w/ my doctor but just wanted to throw out a couple questions in the meantime to set my mind at ease if even by just a little. I have visible warts, since it’s most likely that my b/f gave me the virus can we have sex since he most likely already has the virus, or will me having warts make him more likely to have an oubreak of warts.
