Would there be a cure for this?
I’m currently writing a paper over whether or not the HPV vaccine should become mandatory for girls before entering the sixth grade. Parents could opt out under most bills citing religious/philosophical beliefs. Opponents say that it would take away parents rights and it might increase promiscuity. Proponents want the option to be available for uninsured families (if it is mandatory the feds will pay for it) and they want to use it to decrease cervical cancer rates. I want to know what everyday people think about it. Are you for or againt it?
I know it’s an awkward question, but I was just curious. Also, is it possible to get an STD from masturbating with your fingers or a “toy”? Just a question.
there is a sexual health problem with me ( foul smelling discharge) & i need to get it fixed up with a doctor but i dont want to tell my parents to bring me in but i can go in alone but i dont know when i could cause of school & the hours the place is open , im sexually active and they dont know i am and i my boyfriend has HPV or something so i dont want to go in and them tell me its an std & my doctor tell them i have one.. have my parents flip and make everything worse in the house then it is already…

I caught genital warts and i told my mom in confidence and she came home drunk and told my dad . I feel like he thinks im a completely different person now . Do your parents think of you different if you have a std ? Please no rude comments .
I am not trying to be mean, and I know that YA is here so that you can get questions answered anonymously, but most of the teens I see in this area seem to be making some really bad choices and highly lacking in knowledge and I think this could be prevented if they had better communication with their parents. Many times, I answer their questions with a simple “go ask your parents”. As a mom, I really hope that people would encourage my teen to talk to me. Any thoughts?
We have to many teens getting pregants and to many teenage boys becoming fathers and to many kids messing up their lives. There must be a answer some where. Can any body help?
ALL THE ANSWERS ARE SO GOOD, I CAN’T DECIDE ON BEST ANSWER, I AM GOING TO LEAVE IT UP TO THE VOTERS. I AM SORRY.
My step son (11 years old -fifth grade) is going to begin a family life and sexual health unit in the coming weeks.we can choose to not have him participate in the program.
Is fifth grade too early?or should things like sex be discussed sooner than later to prevent issues later in life?
When we were told about the course in the beginning of the year we agreed to let him take it.
Weve already discussed quite a bit with him.so we like the idea of him learning more…maybe things we missed or havent gotten to yet.
