I keep getting these (completely painless and with no visible blisters) little red scratch-like marks on various parts of my body several times a week and then they fade away in 1-2 days. I have had 2 blood tests for herpes that both came out negative, so maybe that’s not what it is. But this is driving me crazy.

I have always heard that when people have herpes recurrent outbreaks can occur a few times a year but is it possible to have recurrent outbreaks several times a week?

How many Genital Herpe outbreaks do you usually get a year?

Just wondering. I found out 3 weeks ago that I have it and I just want to know what to expect.

i haven’t had sex in a while and i developed a bump that looks like a pimple/cyst on my area and i think all it is is an ingrown hair and that i’m probably over reacting but you can’t be too careful. i will say this i haven’t ever had symptoms of having genital herpes and haven’t had an outbreak of bumps down there before so that’s why i think it may just be an ingrown hair.

Can a person diagnosed with genital herpes that has not had outbreaks in years be reinfected if they are intimate with someone who has outbreaks often?

Even though a person may have a virus but not an outbreak of either genital warts or herpes, you can still catch it right?

This guy is trying to convince that you can’t.

Hi I saw an answer to a question and the lady said that there is medication you can use to keep from getting an outbreak. I get them all the time right before I get my period for about a day or two and it is very uncomfortable sometimes I want to cry. What is the name of this medication…thank you. As soon as I get an answer I am calling my doc and asking them to prescribe it for me they know I have gential warts.

I have been diagnosed with genital herpes, but have never had any visible or difficult outbreaks that Im aware of(diagnosed 10 years ago). I am in relationship with a woman who also has genital herpes, but has the regular unpleasant outbreaks about every 18 months to 2 years. We are not yet sexually intimate and will not be until marriage. By becoming sexual with her, will it become possible that my herpes condition will become worse, perhaps, more of a severity like hers? Is there anything that can be done to lessen the effects of transmission, once we do become sexual?
