My ex-boyfriend had unprotected sex with a girl that has herpes, but he says that she hasn’t had a outbreak so he can’t get it. Now he wants to go back out with me. Even though we have protected sex I’m still scared! Is it possible for him to have herpes?

Simply answer the question above. I really do not want all the facts on herpes. I want to know this answer only. Basically, what are the chances that someone without herpes performing oral sex on a female with herpes will catch the disease? I would prefer answers from a medical professional or someone that actually has the virus and has experience with it, I don’t want to know what you think might happen if you are unsure. Thank you.

I started getting the red bumps on monday. I went to get them checked out yesterday and the doctor tested me for herpes and put me on valtrex. I’m taking it twice a day. How long can the first outbreak last WITH medicine?

I scratched my skin on my stomach and was shocked to see the scratch marks turn very red and on one area it almost looks like there are sores there or some kind of rash. Did I spread the herpes to my skin on my stomach? or is it something totally different. is it possible to spread herpes this way or is it only spread to the mouth, genitals and eyes?

If i have HSV1 and get cold sores every now and again but i don’t have a cold sore at the time and perform oral sex on my girlfriend will she get HSV2 genital herpes? Or do i have to have a cold sore at the time for the virus to spread? I am afraid to perform oral sex on her because i don’t want to give her HSV2.

They gave me a cream and it went away within weeks. I havent had a breakout since then and its been over a year. Do I still have the HPV virus?

Would genital herpes occur on more than just thighs? Wouldnt there be sores in the genital region too?

my gf of many years is a carrier of genital herpes, I am carrier with no symptoms and got it from her but in the last year every time we have sexual intercourse or oral even she gets an outbreak… never had more than two a year before but now its every time, anyone tell me why? please!

I tested positive for HPV over 10 years ago. Then tested negative for it for the past 5 years. And, now I just recently tested positive again. I’ve never had any outbreaks. Can I still pass it to my boyfriend?
