Last night I had sex with my boyfriend and afterwards I noticed I was bleeding. I went to the bathroom and realized it wasn’t a little bit of bleeding but was very heavy (with blood clots and everything.) I’m on the pill so I was scheduled to get my period 3 days from now. If it was an STD would I bleed that much?

I don’t have insurance and I want to go to Planned Parenthood to get tested for some STD’s and also get on birth control, i heard that you need to have a regular medical exam before they can put you on any birth control. So since I’m going to have to pay out of pocket, how much should i expect to pay for std tests, medical exam and birth control. Any help would be great, preferably someone who has gone to Planned Parenthood without insurance. Thanks

How much bacteria of an STD do you have to come into contact with to catch the disease? Would there be enough in a mosquito that started a blood meal off of an infected person and was interrupted and started on you and you swat them on an open wound, if this all happened in about 3 seconds (because i know that the bacteria starts dying as soon as it leaves a human body)?
