The PARENTS can opt out but if they don’t and the girl refuses what’s the legal consequence? Why she be physically forced? Not allowed to enroll in school? Arrested? Nothing?
What is the meaning of mandatory without applying the opt-out clause?
I’m curious how the legality works. I know the law is not passed, but it could be, and in other states as well. The vaccine itself sounds like a good idea to me, but how mandatory would it be?

I was looking at the gardasil information and I read that your not supposed to get anyothet vaccine until the series is finished. Howeever, my doctor gave me a flu shot too.

Say you have a STD but show no symptoms? How long do you “have” before you become infertile and stuff like that? I had my last pap test/std test in june, but since then I have given my bf oral (without protection, though he says he has nothing). Since my next check up wouldnt be until June, do you think I would be ok (meaning no long term damage to my body), if I had something?? thanks

Okay, I got STD tested at a nonprofit organization for free 2 days ago. I’m pretty sure I have Syphilis. The organization told me that they will report the infection to a local health department if I have it.

What does this mean? Would my medical or public record be affected?

I have gotten 2 out of the three shots for the HPV vaccine. I haven’t gotten the 3rd one yet because I keep missing my appointment. Am I semi-protected or not at all?

Tiffani: I had my second pap today and the doctor told me next week he will perform a biopsy.

i got the HPV (gardasil) shot today. i know you have to get 3 total shots, and i heard (and read on the website) that each shot is 3 months apart, but my doctor said i have to come back in 2 months for the next shot, and we made an appointment in 2 months….what happens if you get the HPV shot 2 months apart insted of 3?

My friend gave head to a guy (but he didn’t O yet) who she found out later had an STD. The verdict is still out for another 5 days but doctors thing it was either gonnerra or syphillis. Can she contract the infection?
