I only found out a couple of days ago that my boyfriend of 2 years slept with someone behind my back while on a business trip to singapore. I’ve been informed by the doctor that it’s unlikely that I’m HIV positive but that I definately have an STD. It has turned out that this has caused further medical complications. He didn’t know he passed an STD to me but he kept the fact that he had unprotected sex with someone from me for 2 months. Do I have grounds for taking him to civil court and if it does, do I have a chance of winning?

Both of us are completely clean, no STD’s and we both got tested and came out negative. But what I’m concerned about is that is it possible to get an STD even if both people; giving and receiving don’t have any?
