okay this question has been asked many times.. but non have given a clear answer..
when they say skin-to-skin.. do they mean any skin-to-genital wart ? for example if i touch a genital wart by hand will the virus go through the skin of my finger and pass the virus through my system and eventually get genital warts ? what if i touch the wart on someone’s genital and then touch my own genitals.. will the virus pass through that way ?

what about orally ? what happens if the genital wart comes in contact with the mouth ? does the virus also go through the system orally ??

or do they mean when they say skin to skin “genital warts-to-genitals ” does the genital wart have to touch the genital area directly in order to pass on the virus ?

can someone please elaborate in details !! im really confused on this skin-to-skin contact !

I know it prevents hpv and cervical cancer and all that, but what makes it do that? Specific details are key here please help me.

I have read and heard about the HPV but i have a very simple (maybe even a little ignorant lol) question… How exactly do you get infected? By having relations with someone who has it? If so, how did that person get it? By visiting an unsanitary public bathroom or is the HPV around in nature??… lol i know my questions sound really stupid and ignorant but i really don’t know please help thank you!

I recently made a huge mistake and had unprotected sex with my boyfriend(now ex). He then told me two weeks after the act, that he had cheated on me earlier on the same day we had sex(also unprotected). I go in for a complete STD test in the afternoon tomorrow and would like to know how long I should expect to wait for the results of each test. I’ve been extremely worried(although I show no signs) since he told me.
