Is it possible to have an STD without ever having sexual intercourse?
About three years ago, I contacted Genital Warts. I was not told of her condition at the time. I have had all warts removed, and keep up with the ones that re-appear every now and then. Since there is really no test for a man to tell weather or not you have them cellular, I am unaware of that possibility. If I keep myself clear of a visible warts, am I still contagious? Also, I have met a wonderful woman, and she accepts my problem, and we use protection everytime. So far she has not contacted the virus. We would really like to have a baby, but to do this, we would have to have unprotected sex. What are the chances of her contacting the HPV, and also, what are the chances of the baby having HPV? Or are we never going to be able to have a child together? This virus is very confusing with so many different versions of how it can be transmitted. I just would rather be safe than sorry, and I would never want to put her or the babies life in jeopardy.
I never heard of this and never had this before I was pregnant and the doctor says its because I am pregnant. I asked her to remove the wart because I know warts continue to grow when left untreated and she said she can’t because I am pregnant! Now I think this is b.s. She smiled and seemed happy and said you will get more. I asked for medication to treat them and she said medication doesn’t exist for warts just herpes. Any one had similar experience?
I’ve never had sex or even fooled around with a guy, but I was recently diagnosed with HPV/Genital Warts.
How is this even possible?
What are the other ways of getting this?
Someone I care about told me they just found out they have the HPV virus and the doctor is going to check it further to scrape it off. Is there any needle to get rid of it or does she have to keep getting it scrapped? Will it ever disappear?
I had all my gardisil shot scompleted a year ago, and I know it doesnt mean it protects from all HPV but i’m still freaking out. Arent abnormal cells caused by HPV?
Those things are being diagnosed in women younger and younger. I was curious to know if anyone thought maybe HPV could be an underlying cause no one thought of.
Has anyone or know of anyone who has ever used Aldara cream to get rid of genital warts?
WARTROL! Has anyone ever used wartrol for genital warts treatment?
Has anyone ever used wartrol and how effective was it??
