I’ve been reading up on STDs lately, and I’m wondering how someone would go about finding out if they have EVER had an STD before that could have been spread to another person. I’m mainly interested in the STDs that can be spread without sexual contact, such as herpes, public lice or scabies. Please give me your advice!

I hear different answers.. some say it stays in your body for a life time and others say that your immune system takes care of it and it goes away in 2 years.

I want to know, the majority of the teenagers on here that has had a STD or STI check up or Pregnancy scare, myself both, multiple times w/ only one partner ever.

I’m going to one tomorrow about some weird symptoms I’ve been expieriencing “down below” but I’m a bit nervous, I’m wondering what they’ll ask, what they’ll do. Will I get “inspected” or screened for STD’s there and then? Or will we just talk and then make some kind of appointment for that? I’d kind of like to get tested ASAP but I’ve never had anyone (apart from bf) looking there so I’m kinda embarrassed.

Can you remain anonymous? Are they going to give me a hard time and ask me to identify people I slept with? Can I be arrested if I refuse to pay for treatment? Because if they ask for money I’m leaving I’m broke.

i was told i had hpv about a month ago. i have never had an external outbreak, so im assuming i have the type that are inside my cerix. can i pass it on to someone else if we are not using protection even though i never had an outbreak and am not active? please no rude comments,i would really like to know. thanks!

Usually you get the STD trichomoniasis from sleeping with someone who already has it. But has anyone gotten this STD by something else?

For example you either a. don’t want to have sex at that time for whatever reason or b. don’t want to have unprotected sex at any time in the relationship so you pretend to have an STD to put it to rest. Have you done that before?? And do you think it’s ok to do?

My boyfriend informed me that he had an std early on. I have been pregnant and getting tested regularly. Is it possible that the std he had back then I just got or did he receive it again.
