Just like aids is passed down to children, is the same true with genital herpes? And if the answer is yes, then isnt it inevitable that everyone will eventually be diagnosed with genital herpes, since about 1/3 of the population today already has it?

My ex used to have warts on his hands when we first got together five years ago. This is the only way I can think of how I may have gotten genital warts. I haven’t been told by a doctor that is what it is but I am pretty sure by the looks of it that I have them. I just want to know if it’s possibly that I got them from him touching me down there.

I have bumps down there, & I know it’s not warts. I have had a genital wart before, & I know what they look like. Is there any possible way that it could be something else? Has anyone else had this condition? I am worried. They don’t itch, they don’t have any white tips or anything. It’s three little bumps, & they’re kinda scaly? It feels almost like psoriasis (which I do have)… Please, help someone.

I’ve got a friend who has white bumps on his scrotum that he has had from birth. He says his father has them too supposedly.
So to rule out the possibility, can HPV (human papilloma virus) or genital warts be passed on from birth, or are these things only contracted from sexual intercourse.
