if i have genital herpes and i don’t get it checked out by a doctor can anything serious happen? im currently not sexually active, and i haven’t been for a long time.

I remember someone saying that there was an organization on the East Coast of the United States that offer a service to test for STD and HIV and give you a card to prove that you dont have those diseases. Is there an organization in Southern California that deals with this sort of thing?

I’m a virgin, but I don’t have cold sores. Does this mean I won’t get genital herpes too? What if my guy has genital herpes but no cold sores and we have oral sex. What are the possibilities of me contracting something?
Is it possible for my guy to pass genital herpes to me if we have sex. I understand that using a condom may help, but it’s not completely effective.

Why do people say that it is necessary to practice safe sex with your partner if she has HPV/genital warts and you don’t. The uninfected person will definitely get it even if they were a condom, so what’s the point

If i have HSV1 and get cold sores every now and again but i don’t have a cold sore at the time and perform oral sex on my girlfriend will she get HSV2 genital herpes? Or do i have to have a cold sore at the time for the virus to spread? I am afraid to perform oral sex on her because i don’t want to give her HSV2.

As soon as my boyfriend went to the doctor and found out he had a genital wart I went to the doctor to get tested. My test results came back normal?! This is the first time he has had a breakout since we have been together for almost 2 years. How could I NOT have hpv? I am just very surprised by the results.

It is important that I go the clinic right away (sexual health concern) but I don’t have insurance. I am applying for Medical Assistance with the county, but I can’t wait the 30 days that it takes them to approve people. They do not back-pay where I live. Are there any options for me as far as free clinics or sliding fee clinics, which are NOT walk-ins? Any resources will help! Thanks.
