I first masturbated when I was 5 and now at 27 I still do and other sexual habbits have increased too like the number of sexual partners. I’ve tried to quit many times and have gone for about a month. kinda like smoking i tried to quit many times and eventually I did. and i know that had some health benifits, saved me some money, and gave me extra time to do something else more constructive. how common is it to have addictive sexual behavior nowadays anyway?
I already tried putting parental controls on my self that didn’t work. is there a pill? like the nicatine patch?

So, in a nut shell I have no idea what douching is. By the way, I’m a girl. I know douching has to do with water… Is this something I should be doing to stay clean, or is it something people only do after sex, or is it simply just for pleasure? I’m very very confused. I’m a virgin and I have no interest in doing anything just for sexual pleasure, but if this is something women do for health reasons then I want to be aware.

My doctor made is sound as if it were no big thing, we would just have exams more often. I have read that high-risk HPV is the type that is linked to cervical and other cancers. Does anyone know of any statistics on people diagnosed with high risk HPV? I am wondering why some people get cancer and others don’t.
Thanks.

My client went in hospital for chest pains. While in the hospital the er doctor did a simple urine test that showed yeast and a possible std. Why would the be testing for this stuff with chest pain and what yeast and std could it be. Due to clients rights she does not have to tell what std it is and for my safety I need to know if it could be treated and go away after treatment

Hi, I am planning to have a baby. and both me and the donor wanted to get tested. For ourselves and the baby. So I wanted to know if anyone knew of a clinic or medical office that does free STD testing in B’ham or Tuscaloosa Alabama. Thank you for any real information.

I saw a patient who tested positive for gonorrhea and she was upset because she didn’t want to be tested nor did she know STD testing was going to be done. Is this because STD testing is just included as the standard-of-care for sexually active women at risk or did she need to give consent to STD testing first?
This is in IL by the way.

My friend got genital warts and she was with a man for going on 5 yrs, she is only sexually active with him and she fears that he may have cheated on her and gave her genital warts. How often do males give females genital warts? What about the average timespan it shows in woman after the man has been infected? Should she suspect her partner? Should she worry about cancer?
