Someone I know just got diagnosed with genital herpes. They said they did not have sex, and that the doctor said they got it from a towel or bathroom. Is that actually possible?
What other types of herpes could they possibly have then, if it’s not genital? They said it was on their leg.

I know someone who had sexual intercouse w/a person who had HPV (before this person knew they had the virus) but somehow didn’t contract the virus themselves. Is it possible that they could just be a carrier of the virus? If so, how long could they carry this virus?

How long after your warts were removed did you have unprotected sex again, and did your partner develop warts?
Doctors say your immune system naturally clears the virus within one to two years and I just want to see how it varies among others.
**Tarnishsilverheart… Kay, thanks for not answering my question. I already know all of that. I’m asking for individual experiences, not an article written by research.

I found out i have high risk hpv and need a follow up in 3 months. What does this mean for me and my bf? What happens if I want another child? How does it affect him? How do I live with HPV?

I have had itching in the anus and testicles for the last several months.
I have seen 12 doctors, billed thousands to my health care provider etc etc etc I ordered an Make urine HPV kit form MDLabs and will know on monday.
I am going to keep this simple…
Have any males out there been diagnosed with hpv with the only symptom of itching in the genital region?

My doctor made is sound as if it were no big thing, we would just have exams more often. I have read that high-risk HPV is the type that is linked to cervical and other cancers. Does anyone know of any statistics on people diagnosed with high risk HPV? I am wondering why some people get cancer and others don’t.
Thanks.

im undergoing treatment for the next 4 weeks and i heard there is a chance that the warts would disappear after treatment. but, is it safe to have sex after that? even with a condom? cos i heard skin to skin contact could infect a person with the virus.

I was curious about this, and maybe someone who has gotten HPV can help me with this. I am aware that most HPV strains go away on it’s own eventually. I was just wondering would one still be able to have children as normal if she still had it, and/or after its gone?
