I’ve had sex with my boyfriend, but never unprotected, is it possible to contract an STD even if we’ve never had unprotected sex?
By protection I do mean Condom. What I want to know is can you catch anything serious?

This may be a dumb question, but when someone has sex with someone with an STD, does an exchange of bodily fluids (cum) have to occur or not necessarily?
Do the partners have to ejaculate to get the STD?

Someone says they contracted genital herpes after having surgery for their appendix. They have had other health issues caused by childhood meningitis and they say this is what caused the genital herpes to be “activated” in their body after their surgery. Is this absolutely ridiculous or is it really at all possible?

I’m just curious, after getting the Gardasil vaccine, how likely is it that you can contract the HPV virus and Genital Warts?
I know that Gardasil doesn’t protect against all strands of HPV, but it does guard against the most common that cause the two…
so what are a woman’s odds of contracting either after having the vaccine for a few years or so?
Assuming that the Gardasil vaccine was given before the woman becomes sexually active, therefore, never being exposed to the HPV virus before.

I am not sexually active. I just got tested and today found out I have chlamydia. I’m getting treated. I rarely have sex and I haven’t been with anyone in over 8 months. Before that it was 5 years. And I was only with one person last year. For someone as celibate as I am, it’s very disturbing. How many people contract an STD? And how common is chlamydia?
My goodness, this is the first time I’ve ever had an STD and I’m 28.
