I’ve been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years now and i’m afraid to lose him because i have hpv and think it will be hard to find and trust someone again. I’ve already put my trust in the wrong guy or else i wouldnt have hpv in the first place. how can i feel secure about sex and relationships again without fearing contracting or spreading hpv?? hellppp

I was recently diagnosed with severe HPV and i am having the LEEP procedure done in a few weeks. I was wondering if i could have contracted this from poking at my boyfriends plantar wart? My nurse said this was possible, but on most websites it says this in not possible?
