Yes, my friend of many years is finally preggers! She has a history unfortunately of genital herpes. She plans on having a regular vaginal birth. I may be a nurse, and I never worked L&D, but I remember herpes automatically meaning a c section as the virus can cause blindness in newborns. Is this still the belief?

I am taking a test for STD’s and (long story short) my parent’s are going with me, I am 18 but I am afraid the birth control will show up because they share this info with immigration (long story) can birth control show up?

Not genital herpes… there is a difference and i know if you have genital herpes if you have an outbreak you cant. Does it work the same for warts?

I don’t have HPV (don’t know why I feel the need to defend that to strangers) but I just anwered a question, uninformed, about it.
