I’m a virgin and I’m planning to have sex with someone who isnt, and has been tested and is “clean”. Is it still possible for me to catch an STD if we’re unprotected?

Are there any STD or other diseases and viruses that can survive outside of the body or go into some kind of sleep mode (forgot what it is called), that can infect the private area by playing with yourself with dirty hands?

Like the title says, how long after first contact with an STD does a person become contagious, assuming they have been infected?

My boyfriend and I were both virgins until we slept with each other, and we’ve used a condom each time. Can we still get STDs or can I get HPV/Cervical cancer ?

If a new partner tells me they had genital warts 20 years ago and no problems since, I don’t need to be concerned for my own health, do I? It’s not as if people carry a transmissible, unexpressed virus I might get….right?

Those things are being diagnosed in women younger and younger. I was curious to know if anyone thought maybe HPV could be an underlying cause no one thought of.

Do you have any suggestions or other treatments that work?

She claims to have warts growing on her vag.

Ive had this wart since as long as i can remember, its only one and i have had warts in other places on body but nowhere else in the genital region other than the one. is this something to be worried about?

Just a rule of thumb approx. time frame. It’s been about 8 weeks since I had unprotected intercourse with a girl that I was unsure if she had any STD’s, but in the past 8 weeks I have had NO FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS, no rashes and no signs of genital herpes. Is it safe to say Im probably home-free?
