I had unprotected sex a few days ago and just to be on the safe side, I was thinking about getting tested for chlamydia/gonorrhea. Do I have to wait a few weeks to ensure an accurate result? And can it still test positive even if I don’t have any symptoms?

I had an HPV test along with my pap a short while ago. It came back negative. However, I am concerned because I have Endometriosis and take meds that cause me to bleed on a regular basis. I had some slight bleeding the day of my tests.

If I had menstrual blood in my cervix could it have made the test less accurate
