The lord god doesnt smite people for sins since jesus paid the price for sin on the cross, we are now judged by our works, (rev 20) The reason god gave the 10 commandments and all the other rules back in the OT was to Keep gods people from things like stds and bad side effects. If one abstains from sex with strangers then chances are one will not get stds. If a person doesn’t steal then they will keep their hands lol. This sort of thing was gods loving way of protecting his people from the evils of the world outside of the garden, he was helping them equip themselves to live in the world they chose but god didnt prefer. If you sin however, you will die and this is the second death. No immortality for the sinner.

Nope. The version of version of God you got is a myth. The God isn’t smiting anyone, nor the Goddess, things just happen, we die, then we come back as a new human, and then die again, on and on.
