I recently found out that I have an STD and I’ve been dating the same girl on and off for quite a while now. Does anyone have experience telling the person they’re dating that they have an STD?

I had HPV and just came out and told my boyfriend at the time. They have a right to know and then they can make the decision if they want to be with you or not. My boyfriend accepted it and we are now getting married. Good luck.

Well since you’ve been with her for a while, on and off, you need to tell her straight up. Chances are, while you guys were off, either one of you guys caught something. You could have even gotten it from her, and she just hasn’t said anything yet. It’s better to get it out there now, and fast before anything becomes worse.

Yes, I found out a couple of years ago that I have Genital Warts. I thought I would be alone forever. Who wants someone that has an STD know matter how pretty they are right. Well A year and two months ago I met this really awesome guy and I liked him a lot and we seen each other for a while and I knew I was going to have to tell him soon what I had. I was really scared because I didn’t know what he was going to say. Even if he wasn’t going to except me I was hoping we could still be friends because I was falling in love with him and I didn’t know it but he was falling in love with me very much. Well when I told him he was shocked and I thought that was it its over but he accepted me for me we are so much in love and we are getting married soon. I hope all goes well.
