Does it hurt when they scrpae a sore to test it for an std?

I found some skin colored sores on the head of my penis, so i am getting tested on tuesday for an std. Does it hurt when they take a sample? Do you have any idea what it might be?

could be genital warts. I guess they’ll scrap it. Believe me, you’d rather do that than have them stick this really long q-tip up your dickhole.

no they usually spry it with a freeze stuff kind like for warts on your skin and take it right off. no problems

BTW, you don’t have to take a urethral sample (i.e. swap placed into urethra) anymore fo some STDs. They have converted those tests into a urine test.

It depends on what it is they are scraping. If the sore itself already hurts, then it is going to hurt even worse to have it cultured. If not, chances are it will not. Generally they only use a swap like a q-tip. They will not be doing a biopsy unless they are concerned about a bigger issue than herpes or HPV.
