Are there laws against knowingly transmitting a deadly STD?

For example: A person has Hep C and does not disclose this to partners when having unprotected sex.

A person with HIV does not disclose with partners.

Sharing needles while positive with either disease. Or any other type of transmission. Not all STD’s are transmitted through sex.

yes there are laws. anything from attempted murder to assault can be filed. However in the case of drug addicts it won’t stick because addicts are aware they are engaged in risky behaviour.
